The 2026 Season
Building a sanctuary for the years to come.
Mindfulness Saturdays
Step out of the noise and into the rhythm of presence. Join us every Saturday at 10:00 AM at Sophia House for a shared practice of stillness, sung prayer, and the art of responding to life with a developed faculty of peace. No slogans—just the simple, transformative work of being.
Walk For Peace
We walk in a way that prints peace and serenity on the Earth. Every step is a prayer; every breath is a new beginning.
Silent Retreat
You are invited to a weekend where the only requirement is presence. Nestled on 250 acres of rolling hills and forest, our silent retreat is designed to help you listen to what gets drowned out by daily life. Renew your spirit in the stillness of the early spring.
Winter Writers Retreat
Seek Sanctuary in the Silence.
As the land turns inward, we invite you to do the same. The Winter Writers Retreat is a seasonal invitation for voices to find sanctuary within the deep stillness of the woods. From the first frost through the early thaws, Sophia House provides the warmth and the intentional quiet needed to listen, to reflect, and to create.
Step into a rhythm of deep focus and shared solitude. Whether you are beginning a new chapter or listening for a buried truth, the forest offers the space for your words to find their way home.
